Algeria Post, under the supervision of the Director General of Algeria Post, according to a statement by the institution, Bachiri, organized a study day on cybersecurity and reducing the phenomenon of fraud targeting users of electronic payment methods, at the level of the General Directorate of Algeria Post.

This meeting comes within the framework of efforts aimed at educating citizens about the dangers of electronic fraud, and highlighting safe digital behaviors, which contributes to protecting electronic transactions and enhancing confidence in the modern payment services provided by the institution.

Bashiri stressed that cybersecurity has become an essential pillar for protecting citizens and enhancing national digital sovereignty, stressing that confronting the phenomenon of electronic fraud requires a comprehensive approach based on developing technical systems, strengthening monitoring and response mechanisms, and improving coordination between the various stakeholders, in addition to modernizing procedures and intensifying awareness and sensitization, considering the citizen a pivotal partner in the digital security system.

The same spokeswoman highlighted that Algeria Post renews its constant concern for the security and safety of its digital system, calling on citizens and its esteemed customers to be careful and careful while conducting their digital transactions, and to immediately report any fraud attempt.

The activities of this study day took place in the presence of the institution’s executives, and with the participation of officials and representatives from several ministerial sectors, national bodies and institutions, including the Ministry of National Defense, the People’s National Army, the National Gendarmerie, the General Directorate of National Security, and the National Association for the Protection and Guidance of Consumers and their Environment, along with dealers in the communications sector and other national bodies, as well as partners from the media family.
