Algeria is following with concern the dangerous developments in Al-Mahra and Hadhramaut in Yemen

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement about the serious developments taking place in the governorates of Al-Mahra and Hadramaut in the sisterly Republic of Yemen.

Algeria confirmed that it is following with great concern and concern the dangerous developments taking place in the governorates of Al-Mahra and Hadramaut in Yemen, and the repercussions that may result from them affecting the security, stability and national unity of Yemen.

It also appreciates all the efforts made to contain this crisis through peaceful means, and confirms its support for diplomatic efforts aimed at sparing brotherly Yemen further escalation, tension and division.

Algeria calls on all concerned Yemeni parties to exercise a spirit of responsibility, wisdom, and restraint, and to commit to the option of dialogue, allowing the resumption of the comprehensive political path that ensures the restoration of security and stability, and preserves the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Yemen.
