Algeria is a rich jewel that mixes history and nature

The Spanish daily “Elbiais”, on Thursday, promoted the direction of Algeria through the pages of its “Elbiais Vikis” trips, to introduce what it described as “an unknown jewel, rich in diversity and treasures that have not yet been explored.”

The article, edited by Sarah Andradi Abad, entitled “Algeria, carried a journey between the landmarks, the desert and Servantes”, as Algeria presented it as a rich tourist destination that mixes history, culture, nature and scenic scenery.

To discover the characteristics of the country, the expert traveler and writer Emma Lira, the historian novelist and author of the novel “The Prisoner”, about the families of Servantes in Algeria, which was quoted by a cinematic Alexandro Aminabar, proposes a tourist program directed to tourists that extend over 12 days, in two specific appointments (January 2026 and March 2026) starting from the Algerian capital until a depth the desert.
At the beginning of the long article, accompanied by pictures of historical sites and landmarks across the various parts of the country, the presentation stated: “Do you want a unique journey away from the usual ways? Algeria will be for you a white painting (…) a destination that is absent from the term adventure.”

The daily scenery highlighted the unique historical heritage of Algeria, which can be observed at the first station for this trip, namely the city of Algeria and its ancient reed, with its infinite alleys, along with the famous “Servanz Cave” located in the Belouizdad neighborhood, which was described as “a witness to that forgotten era.”

The writer adds that, in addition to the Algerian capital, “Algeria is full of many sites classified as the World Heritage List,” noting in particular the Roman monuments and the Mauritanian Royal Shrine (Romans’s tomb) in Tipaza, as well as the two archaeological cities Timadad and Jamila.

Throughout the trip, the visitor discovers through the article, the widespread geographical scope of the country and its desert, especially through the city of Ghardaia, where it is possible to enjoy the Gizab Valley, its palaces and traditional markets, as well as the beauty of the Timimon oases (the red city) that was named so because of its red buildings and its palace.

Emma Lira was also passed by the city of Bani Abbas, called “The Pearl of Al -Saoura”, because of its stunning views of the palm trees and sand dunes, to end the journey in the city of Tagate Al -Jawhara in the depth of the Algerian desert.
