Algeria and Tunisia strengthen partnership in the pharmaceutical sector – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Today, Monday, the Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Wassim Koueidry, received the Tunisian Minister of Health, Mustafa Ferjani, during his official visit to Algeria, extending from February 1 to 3, 2026, at the head of a high-level delegation.

The meeting affirmed the two countries’ keenness to develop cooperation in the pharmaceutical and medical supplies industry, in a way that enhances health and industrial integration and supports common interests.

Visions were also exchanged on ways to expand economic partnerships between customers in the two countries, with a focus on enhancing local production, transferring expertise, and ensuring drug security.
