The sixth annual high-level meeting of the energy dialogue between… Algeria And the European Union, today, Thursday, in Algiers, to evaluate cooperation in the energy field and discuss ways to develop it.
According to a statement by the Ministry, this meeting will be chaired by the Minister StateMinister of Hydrocarbons and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Murad Ajal, and European Commissioner for Energy and Habitat, Dan Jørgensen.
This meeting comes “within the framework of the dialogue mechanisms facilitated by the strategic partnership between Algeria and the European Union, examining all topics of common interest, and reviewing the progress achieved in the field of energy cooperation and its prospects, resulting from the last meeting held on October 4 and 5, 2023, in Brussels, especially in the areas of supplying Europe with natural gas, electrical interconnection, renewable energies, hydrogen development, and in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency,” the statement adds.
