During the third day of his official visit to the sister State of Qatar to participate in the ninth edition of the Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference “DIMDEX-2026”, Lieutenant General Saïd Changriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, continued his visit, on Tuesday, to the various pavilions of the international exhibition, which this year is witnessing a large participation of exhibitors, where he closely examined the latest military products in the field of maritime military industries, where he was provided with comprehensive and accurate explanations of the equipment. The equipment displayed, as well as the latest findings of manufacturers in the field of marine technology.
The first team and its accompanying delegation were also briefed on the latest solutions in the field of drones, command and control systems, cyber protection, weapons and armor.
The occasion was an opportunity to hold talks with officials and representatives of international industrial institutions, centered around exchanging experiences and examining the prospects for potential partnerships, especially in the fields of manufacturing, maintenance, and technology transfer to ensure raising the level of operational readiness and modernizing equipment in accordance with international standards.
At the headquarters of the Qatari Ministry of Defense in Doha, the General Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, was received by His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, where they had a special meeting in private.
