Algeria and Greece sign several agreements to enhance bilateral cooperation – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The Secretary of State in charge of the national community abroad, Sofiane Chaib, in coordination with the Greek Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of Economic Diplomacy and Promotion, Harry Theoharis, chaired the works of the third session of the Algerian-Greek Joint Committee in Athens.

The work of this session resulted in the signing of several agreements and memorandums of understanding between the two countries in the fields of diplomatic training, sports, communication, the National Archives, in addition to air services.

The session also provided an opportunity to enhance cooperation in the fields of energy and renewable energies, justice, agriculture, culture, tourism, new technologies, emerging institutions, sports and transportation, in addition to discussing current international and regional issues and partnerships with the European Union.

On the sidelines of the session, the Algerian Secretary of State held several bilateral meetings with high-level Greek officials to deepen consultation and exchange visions on various aspects of cooperation between the two countries.
