In the absence of the father, who was either in prison, exile, or in a work tour, Ahmed – the student in the secondary departments – began to be concerned with politics and increases their attachment until it reached the matter during the events of the May 8, 1945 massacre, which killed nearly 45 thousand people from the participants and non -participants in the demonstrations that prevailed in the streets of Setif cities, Qomah and Raja, and the vocabulary of the “homeland” and “independence” and “independence” and “independence” and “independence” Just words, but have become a lot of emotion and influence in himself.

Al -Ibrahimi joined the University of Algeria in 1949 in the preparatory year of medicine, and it was involved in the Muslim Student Association for North Africa and participated in all the demonstrations it organized.

The university, for the first time, became clear in his mind the goals of colonial education represented in separating the elite from its original culture and satisfying it with an extraneous culture that draws from it until it becomes a tool for colonial domination.

In the face of this paradox, it was the duty of Brahimi – as he mentioned – to conclude a fundamental reaction and an ideal way of defense, and that was through a newspaper in the French language in the name of “the Muslim young man”, in return, a means of rooting and then a means of liberation.

After five years at the University of Algeria, Brahimi flew to Paris and joined the Faculty of Medicine for the fifth year, which culminated at the end of them with a theoretical exam, according to a successful success that enabled him to hesitate to Parisian hospitals and join them in his sixth year. Beginning from here, Brahimi put the struggle over any other consideration. It was first in the General Union of Algerian Muslim Students and then in the France Federation of the National Liberation Front, and then participating in many meetings that were held in French university cities.

He ended up as president of the National Union of Algerian Muslim Students, who created branches for him in many French cities, in addition to the Algerian branch in which Mohamed Al -Siddiq Ben Yahya and Al -Amin Khan were active.

Starting from March 1956 to February 1957, the date of his arrest by the French authorities, the complete secrecy of Brahimi, because of its special tasks assigned to its entirety towards achieving coordination between the members of the France Federation and the leadership of the front, which often seen in some of its strange and dual positions.

From prison to declaration of independence

Two years after the relentless activity, they were buried with the dangers and fear of being victims of torture or killing, French police arrested Ahmed Talib with a number of his comrades from France Federation and put them in prison, and there he met with the five leaders: Ahmed bin Bella, Muhammad Boudiaf, Hussein Ait Ahmed, Muhammad Khaddar and Mustafa Al -Ashraf, and he had wide political discussions with them that ended in the entirety of the entirety. Ibrahimi left the prisons of France in September 1961 and from there he went to Tunisia and then to Rabat and then to New York, where he underwent some medical analyzes and treatments, and from there to Cairo where he met his family residing in it since 1952, and then his return to Algeria in July 1962. It was entrusted with making the necessary contacts with adults.

His political activity

He assumed several ministerial portfolios at the end of the sixties, seventies and eighties, nominated for the presidency of the Republic in the 1999 elections, which established the Al -Wafa Party.
