African Handball Cup: Date of the match between Algeria and Nigeria

The senior national handball team will meet its Nigerian counterpart in the first match for the African Cup of Nations, which will be organized by Rwanda between January 21 and 31.
The confrontation will be held in the “Small Stadium” hall of the Umuhoro Stadium in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, on Wednesday, at 11:30 Algeria time.
The confrontation with coach Salih Bushekriu’s squad will be preceded by the opening match between the home team, the Rwandan national team, and its Zambian counterpart, which is scheduled for seven o’clock in the evening.
The four teams, Algeria, Nigeria, Rwanda and Zambia, make up the first group.
The first round matches will be held over three days, with an average of eight matches each day.
Masoud Barkos’s teammates will meet the Rwandan national team in the second round, Thursday, at six o’clock in the evening in the “BK” hall.
While the “Small Stadium” hall will once again receive the final round match of the group stage against Zambia, on Saturday, at two o’clock in the evening.
Assistant coach Abdelghani Loukil revealed that the national team has focused on tactical work since its arrival in Kigali.
The former African champion explained that the players are physically ready in light of the intense preparations that the team has conducted over a whole month.
Player Youssef Ateeq confirmed that the team aims to enter strongly into the competition and win over the Nigerian national team.
For his part, player Ayoub Hamdi stressed the need to focus on the opening match.
The Olympic Valley Sports Club player refused to describe the match as difficult, but pointed out the need to find the required consistency between the team’s elements, which mixes experienced players with young players who will discover the continental competition for the first time.
