About 2,200 licenses were granted to open Al-Rahma restaurants during the month of Ramadan – Al-Hiwar Algerian newspaper

Today, Saturday, the Minister of National Solidarity, Family, and Women’s Issues, Soria Muluji, announced the granting of approximately 2,200 licenses to open Al-Rahma restaurants across the various states of the country, as part of the ongoing preparations to welcome the holy month of Ramadan.

This statement came on the sidelines of her participation in the activities of launching the national campaign to reduce waste and rationalize consumption, organized by the Ministry of Internal Trade and National Market Control, in coordination with the Ministry of Environment and Quality of Life, at the Central Post Office in the capital.

In this context, the Minister explained that, within the framework of the solidarity sector’s contribution to the solidarity grant for the month of Ramadan, a financial envelope estimated at 1.47 billion Algerian dinars has been allocated for the benefit of the eligible, in coordination with local groups.

Soriya Moulouji also confirmed the sector’s involvement in promoting the solidarity economy, through the integration of productive families into neighborhood markets organized in coordination with local authorities and relevant sectors, noting that the number of participating families during this year will approach 900 productive families.

Regarding accompanying associations and civil society, the Minister stressed that granting licenses to open Al-Rahma restaurants falls within the framework of supporting solidarity initiatives during the holy month.

In a related context, Mulji revealed the preparations for the fourth edition of the national competition for memorizing, reciting and reciting the Holy Qur’an for the benefit of people of determination and vulnerable children, in coordination with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments and public television.
