Today, Tuesday, digital meteorological models reported recording a frost wave, very heavy rain, and heavy snow, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, until Friday.
Heavy rains are expected to affect most of the northern and coastal regions, with heavy snowfall continuing on the highlands of several states, including Tiaret, Blida, Tipaza, Medea, Setif, Tizi Ouzou, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Constantine, Khenchela and Batna.
During Thursday and Friday, most of the northern regions will witness continued heavy rain and low temperatures.
With regard to temperatures, meteorological maps indicated that a frost wave will be recorded across most of the states of the country, where temperatures are expected to be recorded ranging between minus 4 and minus 2 degrees in the interior regions, from 0 to 4 degrees in the coastal regions, and from 0 to 10 degrees in the southern regions, while daytime temperatures will range between 4 degrees in the interior regions, 14 degrees in the north, and from 11 to 29 degrees in the south.
On the other hand, digital models showed that the sea will be turbulent along the coastal strip, with wind gusts reaching speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour.
