This course also comes as a continuation of the previous training programs launched by the sector, especially training programs for trainers, within the framework of a gradual and integrated approach aimed at developing the vocational training and education system, and improving the quality of professional supervision and accompaniment at various levels.
In the same context, this initiative falls within the efforts of the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education aimed at supporting the pivotal role of guidance, assessment, and vocational integration counselors in accompanying young people, directing them towards appropriate training paths, evaluating their vocational gains, improving employability, and enhancing the compatibility between the training system and the needs of the labor market.
On the other hand, this training course addresses a number of topics related to modernizing vocational guidance tools, developing evaluation methods, and strengthening mechanisms for sustainable vocational integration, allowing for the unification of vocational approaches at the national level, and increasing the efficiency of accompanying trainees and job seekers.
In this context, vocational training falls within the strategic options of the sector, as it is an effective mechanism for linking training to the labor market, by combining theoretical training within training institutions and field application within economic institutions, which contributes to enabling trainees to acquire practical professional competencies that are compatible with the requirements of current and emerging professions.
The Ministry also attaches special importance to the role of guidance counselors in accompanying professionals, following up on their training paths, and evaluating their gains, which contributes to their effective and sustainable professional integration, and enhances young people’s confidence in the vocational training and education system.
The statement indicated that this training course embodies the sector’s orientation towards consolidating a culture of quality, equal opportunities, linking training to employment, and valuing human capital, in line with the national goals of economic and social development.
