A symposium on presenting and discussing two draft technical amendments to the Constitution – New Algeria

Today, Saturday, at the Palace of Nations, Boualem Boualem, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, chaired a symposium devoted to presenting and discussing the draft technical amendment to the constitution and the organic law related to the electoral system, commissioned by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and in the presence of Prime Minister Sefi Gharib.

This symposium falls within the framework of the President of the Republic’s keenness to devote an approach to dialogue and consultation with various political actors, in a way that strengthens the democratic path and consolidates the state of law and institutions.

The Acting Head of the Independent National Election Authority, Karim Khalfan, the Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Transport, Said Saioud, and the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Lotfi Boudjemaa, participated in the discussion of this symposium, along with a number of advisors to the President of the Republic, and representatives of 12 political parties.
