The Algiers State Transport Directorate announced special measures during the month of Ramadan to facilitate the movement of citizens, including extending work hours at night and creating new lines.
The “Etoza” Foundation launched 10 additional lines towards the Algiers Mosque to facilitate the movement of worshipers to perform Tarawih prayers.
The metro and tram operating times have also been set from 6:30 am to 1:30 am, while suburban trains will run from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm during the first half of the month, with night trips being added in the second half.
