The detachment of the Russian military fleet, consisting of a submarine, docked.KrasnodarThe marine rescue tug “Altay” arrived today, Thursday, in the port of Algiers, on a four-day stop.
The Ministry of Defense explained, in a statement, that the mission commander and his accompanying delegation paid a courtesy visit to the commander of the Central Waterfront at the headquarters of the naval base in Algeria in the 1st Military Region.
The talks dealt with ways to improve bilateral cooperation and enhance the exchange of experiences between the Algerian and Russian navies.
In this context, exchange visits will be organized between members of the Algerian Navy and the crew of the Russian detachment, which will allow the exchange of knowledge acquired in the maritime field.
The stop program will also include organizing cultural and tourism activities for the benefit of the Russian detachment crew members.
