A record jump in global gas prices after its production stopped in Qatar

Bloomberg revealed that gas prices in Europe reached a record high, against the backdrop of rapid developments in the Middle East region and the expansion of the conflict to the Gulf countries.
According to the same source, gas prices in Europe jumped by up to 50 percent following the cessation of liquefied natural gas production in Qatar, at a time when the London Stock Exchange Group announced that European natural gas rose by 30.84 percent.
NBC News also reported that natural gas prices in the United States rose by about 50 percent, as markets fear potential disruptions to global supplies.
Earlier today, Monday, Qatar Energy announced the cessation of liquefied natural gas production following a military attack targeting operational facilities in the cities of Ras Laffan and Mesaieed, which sparked a wave of concern in international energy markets.
