A delegation from the Russian State Duma, led by Dmitry Sablin, coordinator of the group of representatives in charge of relations with the parliaments of the Middle East and North Africa countries, arrived in Algeria today, as part of an official visit extending from today to January 23 of this month.
Upon its arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport, the delegation was received by members of the “Algeria-Russia” parliamentary friendship group, led by Abdel Salam Bashagha, the group’s president.
This visit, according to what the National People’s Assembly announced on its website, falls within the context of strengthening relations of cooperation and parliamentary consultation between the two friendly countries.
