Kamal Badari: 60 percent of graduation projects in marine sciences will be job-creating – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Badari, revealed that 105 graduation projects have been achieved in the field of exploiting marine products, including 60 projects within the framework of emerging and small enterprises in the same field, with the aim of converting them into products that can be manufactured and marketed.
And regarding the minister’s visit, accompanied by the Minister of Fisheries, to the Higher National School of Marine Science and Coastal Development yesterday, Sunday, Badari confirmed that more than 60 percent of the graduation projects will be job-creating and connected to the world of business markets in the form of start-up enterprises.
And the minister said, while standing on the most important graduation projects, “The students responded to the bets of the Algerian society, which requires food security, stressing in the same context, the need to respond to the challenges raised by the Algerian authorities.
He explained, on the other hand, that marine science students were able to develop aquaculture technology and port purification with 100 percent Algerian hands for the first time in Algerian history, which will contribute to raising food security.
For his part, the Minister of Fisheries, Ahmed Badani, explained that his sector is working to ensure that there is harmony and joint work with all sectors that would raise fishing production and facilitate the task of fishermen.
Minister Badani said, “Today, we saw a high level of students from the National Higher School of Marine Sciences and Coastal Development, and for our part, we will work to encourage all projects that would be a solution and support for the fishing profession and have a close relationship with the economic life.”
