Artists with one voice: We demand a regional theater in Bordj Bou Arreridj – Al-Hiwar Algeria

The artists of the state of Bordj Bou Arreridj renewed their demands to lift the freeze on the project to study and implement a regional theater in the state, which was registered in 2013 and was frozen in 2015.

Theatrical artists and others belonging to other artistic fields and all those who adopted the hashtag “We demand a regional theater in Bordj Bou Arreridj” considered in a statement that the lifting of the freeze is a legitimate demand and that they deserve a theater just like the rest of the states that have regional theaters.

They affirmed through the same statement that Bordj Bou Arreridj was and still is one of the points of light theatrically and culturally, and it is not possible to talk about the history of the Algerian theatrical movement without touching on it, with what it created of a weighty and considered accumulation, represented and represented by dozens of associations, cooperatives, personalities, experiences, awards, coronations and theatrical demonstrations.

And they highlighted that “the establishment of a regional theater first, and then the construction of a new one, will make the Bordj Bou Arreridj theater a beacon of theatrical movement in the country, given the energies, competencies, talents and theatrical projects that the state of Bordj Bou Arreridj and neighboring cities abound in.

How optimistic I am that their demands will be answered by the concerned authorities, foremost of which is the Ministry of Culture and Arts.
