“Together to protect our children” .. Awareness campaign about the dangers of the Internet – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The General Directorate of National Security, in coordination with the National Gendarmerie Command, launched a national awareness campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of misuse of the Internet by children, mainly targeting parents.

Today, Tuesday, the head of the Communication and Public Relations Cell in the security of the state of Algiers, Police Governor Amal Hashemi, said in a statement to Radio One that this awareness campaign organized under the slogan “Together to protect our children” aims primarily to sensitize parents to the dangers that may result from misuse of the Internet and Social media by children. In the context, the spokeswoman revealed that the National Security Services have registered several cases related to the exploitation of minors through the blue space and luring them into delinquency.

The awareness campaign is carried out with the participation of educational institutions, in parallel with the return of students to school, and the national public and private media will be partners in the awareness process to protect children from the disadvantages of the Internet.
