Another important step in the path of digitization in Algeria

The High Governorate for Digitization seeks to implement practical steps to develop the national portal for digital services by launching model tests at the level of a number of institutions, in a way that ensures improving the quality of services and facilitating administrative procedures for the benefit of citizens.

The High Prefecture for Digitization explained, in a statement, that as a continuation of the process of launching real tests of the National Digital Services Portal (DZaïr Digital Services) at the level of pilot sites (Sites Pilotes), a series of actual field tests were initiated at the level of a number of these sites, within the framework of enhancing the digital transformation in the Algerian administration and facilitating citizens’ access to public services via the Internet.

This step came in close coordination with the interests of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, by involving a group of institutions affiliated with the sector with the aim of testing the effectiveness of the new digital services before distributing them at the national level.

The tests include a number of institutions affiliated with the labor sector, including the National Fund for Social Insurance for Salaried Workers (CNAS), where services for issuing a certificate of affiliation and a certificate of non-affiliation were launched at the level of the Central Algiers Agency.

The National Social Security Fund for Non-Employees (CASNOS) has also been included in this stage, through the Algeria West State Agency, with the same digital services for certificates of affiliation and non-affiliation provided. In addition, the National Retirement Fund (CNR) is participating through the local agency Algiers Central, where the Certificate of Attainment and Certificate of Non-attainment services have become available for digital testing.

On the other hand, the National Employment Agency (ANEM) was involved through the Zeralda Annex, providing registration, follow-up, and unemployment grant services electronically.

It is expected that this experimental phase will continue until March 31, 2026, in preparation for evaluating the results and improving the platform before it is rolled out.
