This training initiative falls within the implementation of the sectoral training plan for the year 2026, which aims to modernize specialized care systems and unify professional practices at the national level, through developing human competencies working in the fields of special education, psycho-educational support, and job rehabilitation for children with autism spectrum disorder, in accordance with modern scientific approaches based on international standards in the field of specialized education.
The organization of this session also comes as a continuation of the series of national training workshops launched by the sector on the new pedagogical and educational program to care for children with autism spectrum disorder, which the Minister had supervised the launch of last February, aiming to establish a unified national frame of reference for approaches to educational and therapeutic care, ensuring the unification of visions and methodologies adopted within specialized institutions, and enhancing the effectiveness of pedagogical and psychological interventions directed at children.
In the speech she delivered on this occasion, the Minister confirmed that the National Solidarity Sector is working to establish a multidisciplinary approach in the field of caring for children with autism spectrum disorder, which is based on integration between the educational, psychological, therapeutic and social dimensions, ensuring the provision of an integrated educational and rehabilitative environment that allows for the development of children’s capabilities and enhances the opportunities for their integration into the school and social environment.
