Araqchi: Washington is turning to China and other countries to secure the Strait of Hormuz – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that the United States is pleading with several countries, including China, to help it secure the Strait of Hormuz, considering that the American security umbrella is full of loopholes.

Araqchi added that American policies in the region do not enhance deterrence, but rather contribute to exacerbating problems, in reference to what he described as strategic shortcomings in dealing with regional crises.
