Strong weather disturbance: snow, wind, and heavy rain continuing until Monday – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The National Meteorological Office warned of weather disturbance extending from Saturday to Monday, including snowfall, strong winds, and heavy rain across several states.

The bulletin explained that the snow will cover mountainous provinces such as Batna, Khenchela, Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, and Blida, with thicknesses ranging between 5 and 25 cm, with an impact on terrain exceeding 900-1,000 metres.

The bulletin also warned of wind gusts exceeding 90 km/h in several states, and heavy rains that could exceed 50 mm, especially in coastal states. These warnings come to ensure the safety of citizens and vehicles and to take the necessary measures during this period.
