The National Meteorological Office warned of very heavy rain, which may reach or exceed 50 mm, and snow across several states of the country, starting today, Saturday.
A bulletin for the same interests reported that significant thunderstorm rain is expected to fall locally, amounting to 30 mm. Starting from six o’clock in the evening today until midday tomorrow, Sunday, in the states of Tipaza, Ain Defla, Medea, Blida, Algiers and Boumerdes.
The bulletin also warned of heavy rains across the states of Tizi Ouzou, Bouira, Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Setif, Mila, Constantine, Guelma, Batna, North Khenchela, Oum El Bouaghi, Souk Ahras and North Tebessa.
The amount of rain ranges between 20 and 40 mm, and locally reaches or exceeds 50 mm, especially in the coastal states.
