Mouloudia strengthens its lead and the Canaries fall in Khenchela – New Algeria

The Mouloudia Club of Algiers, this Friday evening, decided the Assimi derby confrontation against the Paradou Club, with a score of two goals without a response, in the match hosted by the August 20 Stadium, for the opening of the 23rd round of the First Professional League Championship.
Coach Rulani Makwena’s Cubs entered the match with great determination, as top scorer Bangura opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a penalty kick he successfully executed, before his teammate Naiji consolidated the score with a second goal in the 38th minute, giving his team a comfortable advantage before the end of the first half, an advantage that the team maintained until the final whistle.
This second consecutive victory away from home is evidence of the return of Mouloudia Algiers to the path of positive results, and it also reflects the recovery of captain Abdelaoui’s balance after a difficult period that followed the team’s exclusion from the CAF Champions League and Algeria Cup competitions. With this victory, Al-Ameed raised his score to 43 points at the top of the standings, while having four postponed matches.
On the other hand, Parado Club continues its negative results after suffering its sixth defeat in a row, leaving it in the danger zone, ranking 14th with 17 points.
In another match that took place today, USK Khenchela returned to winning ways after faltering in two consecutive matches, following its victory over its guest JS Kabylie with a score of 2-1 at Hammam Ammar Stadium, raising its score to 28 points and sharing eighth place with its competitor.
