US Secretary of Defense: An unprecedented escalation of strikes on Iran today – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The US Secretary of Defense said that today will witness the highest level of strikes in Iranian airspace, stressing that the ongoing operations aim to destroy Iranian military capabilities, especially missile systems and defense industries.

He explained that American fighters and bombers continue to carry out intensive strikes based on renewed intelligence information, noting that Washington is working according to a plan aimed at paralyzing Iran’s military capabilities and preventing it from remanufacturing missiles.

He added that the United States has expanded its attacks to include Iranian defense companies and missile production lines, considering that American superiority is increasing in this confrontation, at a time when operations continue at a pace that he describes as unprecedented.

The minister also accused Iran of threatening navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, stressing that American forces do not target civilians, and that investigations are continuing regarding what happened at the Minab School.

In the context of his statements, the minister claimed that Iran’s leaders are hiding underground, and that the Iranian leader issued a written statement after he was injured, without providing additional details.
