Maya Fadel, President of the National Council for Human Rights – New Algeria

Maya Fadel Saheli was elected President of the National Council For human rightswith the recommendation of the majority of the Council members, succeeding Abdelmadjid Zaalani, today, Thursday, at the Supreme Court, in Algiers.
This election took place in a session chaired by the First President of the Supreme Court, Taher Mamouni, in the presence of the President of the Constitutional Court, Leila Asalaoui, the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Lotfi Boudjemaa, and the Secretary-General of the Government, Yahya Bukhari.
In addition to a representative presidencyAhmed Zarrouk, the President of the State Council, Mohammed bin Nasser, the Attorney General of the Supreme Court, Abdul Rahim Majeed, and the State Governor of the State Council, Abdul Ghafour Kahol, along with members of the National Council.
