Warning about a counterfeit “Zionist” drug threatening the lives of Algerians – New Algeria

The Directorate of Health and Population of Bordj Bou Arreridj State warned of the circulation of a counterfeit and deadly drug called “Escodin.”“.

An urgent instruction addressed to directors of health institutions and pharmacists issued by the same directorate under No. 1215 stated that this medicine originated from the Zionist entity and entered Algeria through foreign hands via Jordan and Syria.

The instruction explained that consuming the drug used as a painkiller for headaches leads to death within five days.

The authorities called on all health institutions and pharmacists to urgently report any presence of the product.
