Hegseth: Our strikes on Iran will target the military and nuclear infrastructure with maximum force

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth confirmed that the planned strikes on Iran will be the most severe, targeting its missiles and military and naval infrastructure to prevent it from possessing a nuclear weapon.

He pointed out that any attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz will be met with a “stronger blow than ever before,” stressing that the operation has specific objectives and is being implemented in accordance with the directives of President Donald Trump, with care being taken to maintain complete air dominance to ensure success.

He added that Iran is using schools and hospitals to launch its missiles, and that the United States will not allow the scope of the conflict to expand, stressing that the mission is not endless but is governed by achieving the desired results.
