The President of the Republic praises the role of Algerian women in the process of building the state – Algerian newspaper Al-Hiwar

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message on the occasion of International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8 of each year, in which he praised the prominent role played by Algerian women in the various stages of building the nation, stressing that Algeria is proud of its women and seeks to devote their full integration into the process of building the modern state.

President Tebboune stressed that Algerian women are an extension of a history full of struggle and sacrifices, recalling prominent feminist symbols in the history of Algeria who contributed to the process of liberation and defense of the homeland.

The President of the Republic explained that the state is working to enhance the status of women and enable them to assume various responsibilities, noting that their presence today is among the highest in the government, elected councils, and constitutional institutions, in addition to their broad participation in the economic and social sectors.

He also highlighted his keenness to follow up on the implementation of the directives directed to the government in order to support the empowerment of women and consolidate the principle of parity guaranteed by the constitution.

At the conclusion of his message, the President of the Republic expressed his pride in the successes achieved by Algerian women in the fields of thought, culture, art and sports, praising their role in preserving the cultural values ​​of society and contributing to the education of rising generations.
