Chengriha congratulates Algerian women and employees of the National Army on the occasion of their International Day – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, Lieutenant General Saïd Chengriha, congratulated all female employees of the People’s National Army, both military and civilian, including Algerian women, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8.

The congratulatory message stated that Chengriha extends his sincerest congratulations and best wishes for health and happiness to all Algerian women, praising the historical and pivotal role of Algerian women in building the modern state and maintaining the cohesion of society, considering that they are one of the most important factors of Algeria’s strength and the pillars of its renaissance.

The Army Chief of Staff explained that the success of Algerian women resulted from their sacrifices and efforts across generations, noting that the constitution guarantees them full rights and honors them in various scientific and professional fields.

Lieutenant General Shangriha also affirmed his keenness to enhance the status of women within the military institution and improve their working conditions, enabling them to perform their duties effectively and contribute to achieving national goals, expressing his pride in the continuous progress achieved by military women and Algerian women in general.

He concluded his message by renewing his congratulations to the women in the People’s National Army and to all Algerian women, wishing them success and success in serving the country.
