The President of the Republic stresses the role of youth in building a victorious Algeria

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, stressed the importance of supporting youth initiatives and enhancing the role of youth in the various paths of national construction, in a way that consolidates the values of participation and responsibility in the service of Algeria, enumerating the challenges that await today’s youth in order to build a victorious Algeria.
This came in his speech on the occasion of the annual breakfast event for youth activists, read on his behalf by his advisor, in charge of political affairs and relations with youth, civil society and political parties, Mustafa Sage, which was organized in the Oval Hall by the Supreme Youth Council in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, under the slogan “Youth, with active participation and national cohesion for a victorious Algeria,” in emphasis on national cohesion and strengthening the role of youth in building a victorious Algeria.
The event was supervised by the Minister of Youth in charge of the Supreme Youth Council, Mustafa Hidawi, in the presence of the Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of political affairs and relations with youth, civil society and political parties, Mustafa Sage, along with the Minister of Vocational Training and Education, the Minister of Relations with Parliament, the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Emerging Enterprises and Small and Medium Enterprises, and the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the national community abroad.
The event witnessed the presentation of a video clip about the efforts of the Supreme Council for Youth and its initiatives in the process of empowering youth and enhancing their participation in public life. A video was also presented about images of cohesion between the people and their army, prepared by the Ministry of National Defense.
To acknowledge the efforts made, members of the event’s organizing committee were honored in appreciation of their contribution to the success of this gathering of youth activists, before moving on to displaying a promotional tape for the Young Leaders Qualification Program (DZ YOUNG LEADERS).
Presidential Advisor Mustafa Sage also presented an intervention on behalf of the President of the Republic, in which he stressed the importance of supporting youth initiatives and enhancing the role of youth in the various paths of national construction, thus consecrating the values of participation and responsibility in serving Algeria, enumerating the challenges that await today’s youth in order to build a victorious Algeria.
Sage called on the Algerian youth to follow the path of the leaders of the Blessed Liberation Revolution, whose average age at the time of the bombing of the Blessed Liberation Revolution and writing of the first November statement was 26 years, similar to the late Mohamed Boudiaf, a member of the Group of 22 and whose name the compound bears, adding that the President of the Republic, in line with his program and commitments derived from the spirit of November 1954, and to follow the path of the leaders of the Blessed Liberation Revolution who were young, and based on this background and this November reference, was done for the first time. Once, the statement of November 1, 1954 was constitutionalized in the 2020 constitution, out of belief in the capabilities of the current generation of young people.
He also recalled the valor of the generation of the revolution in confronting colonial France with all courage, patience and steadfastness, who were able to stand up to the greatest powers at that time, until the restoration of national sovereignty.
In the same context, Sage recalled what was stated in the President of the Republic’s program in its part related to the political and economic empowerment of youth and the reforms aimed at enabling youth to bear responsibility, as the November youth did, based on his firm conviction that this group is the future of Algeria in all its dimensions.
In this regard, he referred to the Parties and Elections Laws, according to which no local or national electoral list can be accepted unless it includes 50 percent of young people, in order to integrate them into the reform process.
On the occasion of organizing this group breakfast, which witnessed the participation of more than 2,000 young men and women from various states of the country and members of the national community residing abroad, a video was shown highlighting the cohesion and brotherhood between the people and their army, and another video highlighting the efforts of the Supreme Council for Youth and its initiatives in the path of empowering this group and enhancing their participation in public life.
For his part, Hidawi stressed that Algeria is experiencing a dynamic that requires strengthening the internal front and following the path of the ancestors who believed in the homeland and sparked the immortal November Revolution, highlighting the vision of the President of the Republic, who attaches great importance to empowering and engaging youth and making it the focus of this dynamic that Algeria is moving along, and making it a locomotive for joint national action, which is embodied through the commitments of government sectors with this group. He added that organizing this meeting aims to strengthen these national convictions among young people and enhance the values of solidarity and interdependence between them. The Minister highlighted the role of the Council as a youth system that believes in effective participation, especially at the economic level, within a strong environmental system, in which efforts are combined and shared with other sectors, such as the knowledge economy sector, emerging institutions, and small enterprises.
