11 people were killed and 269 others were injured of varying severity in traffic accidents recorded in the last 24 hours, according to a Civil Protection tally.
According to the same source, the heaviest death toll was recorded in the state of Touqourt following a collision between a truck with a trailer and a bus transporting passengers (operating the Hassi Messaoud-Touqort line) at the level of National Road No. 03, municipality and district of Tamassine. The accident resulted in 05 deaths being recorded, who were referred to the mortuary authority, and 10 other people were injured with various injuries. They were treated and transported to the local hospital.
