Hajj Moussa reveals the details of his meeting with the Liverpool coach – New Algeria

Algerian international player Anis Hadj Moussa revealed the details of an “exciting” meeting he had with coach Arne Slot before joining Feyenoord, nearly two years ago.

The right winger had joined the ranks of Feyenoord in the summer of 2024, at the request of the team’s coach at the time, Arnie Slot, who then left the team to supervise the English giant Liverpool.

Hajj Musa said, in statements to a Dutch newspaper, reported by the website:Al Ain NewsAl-Emirati, today, Wednesday: “I had many offers, but after meeting with Arne Slott, I decided to join Feyenoord.”

He added: “The coach first described me as a good player, before he changed his tone and set a set of strict conditions for me in order to get the opportunity to participate with the team.”

He continued: “He told me: If you do not perform your defensive duties, you will not play. If you do not provide many decisive passes, you will not play. If you do not make the necessary effort, you will not play. If you do not score goals, you will not play. If you do not show all your qualifications, you will not play.” Hajj Musa said: “After this conversation, I agreed to join Feyenoord, and said I will show everyone what I am capable of.”

And touched Anis Musa praised the Italian Inter Milan’s interest in his services, after his remarkable performance against them in the Champions League, saying: “I was not aware of this interest.” He added: “It is a matter of pride and pleasure that a coach like Simone Inzaghi is interested in your services.”

He concluded: “It is not an easy matter to gain the interest of a big club in a difficult league like the Italian League, where defense is the constitution for everyone. This is a wonderful thing.”
