Creating a national institution for the production of media and communication technologies – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, signed a presidential decree establishing an institution specialized in the production of media and communication technologies, according to what was reported in the latest issue of the Official Gazette.

According to the same source, the new institution was placed under the guardianship of the Ministry of National Defense, with its headquarters located in the municipality of El Harrach in the capital.

This institution is responsible for applying standardization standards and monitoring the quality of materials and semi-finished products, as well as complete and fragmentary equipment related to its field of activity, as well as designing, producing and developing media and communication technologies.
