Bogali praises the efforts of civil protection personnel to serve the nation

On Sunday, the states of the country commemorated the International Civil Protection Day under the supervision of the governors of the republic and in the presence of representatives of Parliament from both chambers, directors of civil protection, secretaries-general of the state unions of Algerian workers, the revolutionary family and executive directors, where they praised the efforts of civil protection users.
The President of the National People’s Assembly, Ibrahim Boughali, praised the great efforts made by the men and women of the Civil Protection Service in performing their noble duties, stressing Algeria’s pride in those who dedicated themselves to protecting lives and property and embodying the highest values of humanity and sacrifice, which reflects the advanced position that the Civil Protection Service has reached at the global level.
This came in a message to the President of the National People’s Assembly, Ibrahim Bogali, on the occasion of the International Civil Protection Day, where Bogali tweeted through his personal account: “On International Civil Protection Day, we extend to you a greeting of pride as you perform your noble duty with courage and dedication, embodying the highest meanings of humanity and sacrifice, and proving with your competence and distinction the advanced position that the civil protection system has achieved at the global level.”
Ibrahim Boghali also noted the pivotal role played by civil protection personnel in confronting various dangers and disasters, and the continuous work in the most difficult circumstances to ensure the security of citizens and the safety of their property, stressing that their high professionalism and spirit of responsibility enhances society’s confidence in this vital body and consecrates its position as a model in serving the nation.
At the level of the headquarters of the main civil protection units in the various states of the country, the celebration program included comprehensive presentations of the outcome of the directorates’ activities, in addition to a review of the equipment funded by the state budget, which reflects the continued support for this sensitive apparatus.
On this occasion, the governors called for the inclusion of training courses for neighborhood paramedics for the benefit of municipal and state employees, in order to enhance their capabilities in initial intervention and rapid care of emergency cases. They also affirmed their continued support for the civil protection sector, stressing that financial funds will be allocated annually from the state budget to acquire and renew equipment, especially water pumps used to confront the dangers of floods and reduce their effects.
The local authorities also followed field demonstration maneuvers presented by the “Civil Protection Cubs” and specialized intervention teams, which demonstrated the extent of their high readiness and professionalism in dealing with various dangers and disasters.
By the way, the Civil Protection Directors pointed to the qualitative development witnessed by the agency, presenting numbers that reflect the size of the sacrifices and highlighting the strengthening of the human element and logistical capabilities. The effective role of specialized teams such as the diving and water intervention team, the Sinotechnical team for trained dogs, and the intervention team in rough terrain was also highlighted.
The celebration also included the organization of practical exercises and virtual maneuvers, the imitation of ranks for civil protection officers and agents who were promoted to higher ranks, and the honoring of the winning agents in the competitions and sports, cultural, and applied activities that took place during these celebrations.
