Last Friday evening, detachments from the People’s National Army, in the Beni Ounif region in the 3rd Military Region, were able to eliminate two smugglers of Moroccan nationality who were about to introduce a quantity of processed kif into the national territory.
According to a statement by the Ministry of National Defense, the seized quantity was estimated at 49 kilograms of processed kif. The identity of one of the smugglers was identified as Ben Douda Abdelkader.
The statement added that the operation comes to confirm the units of the People’s National Army stationed across the entire country of their readiness and determination to confront these criminals, whatever the cost. And thwarting their despicable attempts aimed at compromising the sanctity of our national territory and the security and safety of its citizens.
These operations come within the framework of confronting the fierce drug war waged by the Makhzen regime against our country.
