On Thursday, Kamal Raziq, Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, supervised the launch of the export of the first shipment of locally manufactured ready-made children’s clothing to the Mauritanian market.

The minister stressed that this process represents a precedent in exporting this type of local products to Mauritania, noting that other shipments will follow in the coming days. He also highlighted that many Algerian products are now finding their way to European, Asian and African markets, thanks to their quality and respect for international standards.

For his part, the head of the Textile Industrialists Association – Ghardaia, Abdel Wahab Baba Ismail, explained that the first shipment is estimated at 7 tons of high-quality children’s clothing, with a similar shipment to be exported during the next week.
