The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, delivered a speech on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the General Union of Algerian Workers, and the 55th anniversary of the nationalization of hydrocarbons.

Ladies…gentlemen,
May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God Almighty be upon you.
On the twenty-fourth (24) of February, we have, as every year, a pause to commemorate the double anniversary of the founding of the General Union of Algerian Workers (1956) and the nationalization of Fuels (1971)..
