The distribution directorates in Algiers, affiliated with Sonelgaz – Distribution, launched a campaign to collect the National Identification Number (NIN) from its customers, in the context of updating their administrative data and enhancing the accuracy of their information.
Distribution directorates, such as Al-Harrach, Bologhin, and Sidi Abdellah, explained that this process falls within a modern organizational vision that aims to create a reliable and updated database, and secure various contractual procedures, in a way that supports the quality of service and contributes to accelerating the path of digital transformation adopted by the institution.
The company stressed its keenness to protect personal data and process it in complete confidentiality, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 18-07 relating to the protection of natural persons in the field of processing data of a personal nature, in addition to Supplementary Law No. 25-11. She also stressed that the national identification number is used exclusively for administrative purposes and is kept within a secured information system that can only be accessed by legally authorized parties.
The directorates called on customers to go to commercial agencies accompanied by a valid national ID card, or to fill out the clips sent to them, and include the phone number in preparation for launching the notification service via SMS.
This reliable database will enable sending invoice notifications, payment deadlines, programmed interruptions, and service-related developments, which contributes to simplifying procedures and improving the quality of public service within a modern digital administration that puts the customer at the heart of its priorities.
