A study day on the Amazigh language in the national justice system tomorrow – New Algeria

The Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Lotfi Boudjemaa, is in attendance, accompanied by the Secretary-General For the Semitic province of AmazighSi Al-Hashemi Assad, tomorrow, Saturday, at the Higher Judicial School of Qalaia (Tipaza Province), will attend the opening ceremony of a study day on the topic “The Amazigh language in the national justice system: towards consecrating the Amazigh language in judicial and professional practice.”
He reported Statement from the Ministry “This study day is organized in partnership between the Ministry of Justice and the High Prefecture of the Amazigh Language, within the framework of commemorating the International Mother Language Day and an embodiment of the state’s commitment to promoting the Amazigh language and strengthening its position in the various institutions of the Republic.”
This study day addresses, “a number of basic topics, most notably the constitutional and legal framework for linguistic justice, and the role of judicial translation as a mechanism to ensure fair trial conditions, in addition to presenting field experiences and practical challenges associated with the use of translation during judicial sessions,” the same source highlights.
According to the statement, “An elite group of academics and specialized professors will participate in the work of this academic day, along with judges, experts, translators, and executives from both sectors, ensuring the enrichment of discussion and the exchange of experiences.”
