The President of the Republic sends a message on the occasion of National Martyr’s Day

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message on the occasion of the National Martyr’s Day, which falls on February 18 of each year, highlighting that Algeria has made strides that have made it an arena for workshops full of work, construction and reconstruction landmarks in all states.

President Tebboune said, in his message, “O fellow citizens, in honor of the righteous martyrs… and in reverence for their sacrifices, we commemorate on National Martyr’s Day, the memory of women and men who honored Algeria with the faith and courage with which God bestowed upon them in defeating colonialism and attachment to honor and freedom… and who entrusted the Algerian people with the values ​​of the blessed liberation revolution and the loftiness of its goals.”

The President of the Republic added, “On this occasion, we stand with gratitude and pride to express the duty of loyalty and steadfastness in our approach, and we continue – at this stage – to face the challenges to complete the path that we have begun – together – since the beginning of the decade, and we are proud – very proud – that its foundation was loyalty to the martyrs, its motive is the sincere national spirit, and its goal is the elevation of Algeria… a march that moved from conditions in which the country was on the brink of danger to a climate of trust and hope in a new Algeria, embraced by the people Engaged in a sustainable development movement, the manifestations of which are distributed across the vast regions of the country.”

The President of the Republic affirmed that despite the difficulties of the process, “we have made strides that have made our dear country an arena for workshops, replete with landmarks of work, construction and reconstruction in all states and transformed it into a pole of stability that attracts local and foreign investments, with the testimony of the most reliable figures and the recognition of interested institutions.”

The President of the Republic continued, “We are convinced that what has been achieved is nothing more than a token of loyalty to the martyrs, to whose memory we stand – on this occasion – in reverence, and as a witness to the constant sense of confidence of the people, whose hopes and aspirations remain directed to the march… towards the promise of the emerging state.”

He continued by saying, “As we celebrate National Martyr’s Day on the eighteenth (18) of February, we recall the glory of the martyrs whose pure souls hover – always – in the skies of Algeria, pushing our steps forward, and inspiring us all with pride and dignity… And as I have mercy with you on all the honorable, free women and men who have resisted over the decades… and the heroic revolutionaries who are martyrs of the liberation revolution, I salute the female fighters.” And the Mujahideen, may God prolong their lives, who are still planting seeds of loyalty and blessing on this pure land… and raising calls to protect Algeria and its people. Long live Algeria. “Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs.”
