The National Forum on Innovation and Digital Transformation in Algeria: Highlights – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Today in Algiers, the work of the National Forum “Innovation and Digital Transformation in the Service of Public Utility” was launched under the patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The forum was organized by the Republic’s Mediator Authority in the presence of government members and officials of national institutions and bodies.

Majeed Amour, the mediator of the Republic, stressed that innovation has become “a necessary working method to achieve modern administration and provide effective services to the citizen.”

Digitization has transformed from a technical option into an integrated path that reflects positively on citizens’ daily lives.

The response rate to notifications from the Republic’s mediator reached 93.53% at the end of 2025, which reflects the improvement in handling citizens’ concerns.

The President’s Award for Innovative Researcher and the Best Emerging Institution Award were created to support innovation, scientific research, and strengthen the economy.

The forum constitutes a platform for exchanging visions and formulating innovative, implementable programs and measurable indicators.

A cooperation agreement was signed between the Republic’s Mediator Authority and the High Prefecture for Digitization to enhance an institutional partnership in digital transformation.
