According to the Foundation’s statement, this measure comes in implementation of the instructions of the Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Transport, Al-Saeed Saeed, aiming to provide means of transportation and adapt trip programs according to the needs of citizens during this period.

In this context, the same source adds, “Sogral”, in coordination with the state transport directorates and public and private transport institutions, has strengthened the flight program across the various states of the country, while “adjusting the times of 1,050 flights per day and shifting them to the evening and night periods, in order to avoid the intersection of departure times with breakfast times, given the high demand during these periods.”

On the other hand, Sogral revealed the organization of 33 iftar tables across a number of land stations, in coordination with civil society institutions, local authorities and the Algerian Red Crescent, in addition to organizing neighborhood markets and trade fairs in the stations’ spaces.

These spaces will also be used to organize blood donation campaigns in coordination with health departments, and accompany medical teams in awareness-raising campaigns directed at the benefit of those suffering from chronic diseases regarding Ramadan fasting.
