Hajj 2026: An official call to accelerate payment of the cost of Hajj before February 19 – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

Today, Sunday, the National Office for Hajj and Umrah called on citizens concerned with performing Hajj rituals for the 2026 season to expedite the completion of payment of the cost of Hajj, in order to avoid any delay that might affect the completion of administrative procedures, stressing that February 19, 2026 is the last date for payment.

The Bureau explained, in a statement, that the process of paying the cost of Hajj, estimated at 82 million centimes, began on January 28, 2026, noting that several payment methods had been adopted to facilitate the process for those concerned.

Available payment methods include:

Electronic payment via the local bank card (CIB/Gold) through the “Algerian Hajj Portal” platform.
Payment via electronic payment machines (TPE) at the Bank of Algeria branches.
Payment via certified bank or postal check.
Payment in cash.

The Bureau renewed its call to adhere to the specified deadlines, in order to avoid any obstacles that may prevent the completion of travel arrangements and the performance of rituals on time.
