The Minister, who was accompanied by the Governor of Tindouf, Mustafa Dahou, supervised, on the occasion, the ceremony of signing an agreement between the Directorate of Vocational Training and Education and economic institutions, before visiting, at the institute, a group specializing in mining geology, as well as a workshop specializing in topographic surveying, and giving the signal for the launch of the formation of a group in entrepreneurship.
For this course, the sector records the enrollment of more than 285 thousand new trainees and apprentices in training institutions across the various states of the country, distributed among the various types of training, the most important of which is training through apprenticeship, in-person training, and distance training, in addition to training in evening classes and training for the benefit of people with special needs.
Within this training entry, new specializations were included in some states, such as data analysis and installation and maintenance of solar panels.
It is worth recalling, in this regard, that the Ministry adopted the National Reference for Training and Competencies, which came to replace the National Code for Vocational Training, which included more than 400 specializations covering 23 professional divisions. The sector focuses on professional sectors, which mean “priority” sectors, such as agriculture, industry, digitization, construction and public works, tourism and hospitality, water and environment, as well as renewable energies. This is in line with the requirements of the world of work and in accordance with the needs expressed by economic institutions in terms of qualified labor.
For reference, the vocational training and education sector counts a total of more than 1,100 training institutions across the country, in addition to 18 centers of excellence that were established in partnership with economic operators in the technical and industrial fields.
With regard to the state of Tindouf, 520 registrants were registered for this course across various training institutions, while the training offer includes 14 professional divisions that include 61 specializations.

The Minister of Vocational Training and Education continues her work and inspection visit to the state of Tindouf, visiting the Gara Jbeilat mine and the iron ore primary processing unit, as well as inspecting the “Mohamed Belouizdad” vocational training and apprenticeship center in the Tindouf Lotfi neighborhood and the workshop for driving and maintaining workshop mechanisms, giving the signal for the start of the formation of the apprenticeship teachers’ regiment, and visiting the railway station in the state capital.
