A new partnership in Algeria to support the labor market in the field of communication

According to a statement by the ministry, the Minister of Vocational Training and Education, Nassima Arhab, supervised the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the vocational training and education sector and the mobile phone operator Dazzi, in the company of the Minister of Finance, Abdel Karim Bouzard, and the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Sayed Ali Zerrougui, along with the General Director of Djezi Boumediene Senoussi.
The Minister stressed that this agreement falls within the national strategy aimed at aligning training offers with the requirements of the labor market, and keeping pace with digital transformation, by launching new specializations starting from the February 2026 session in the fields of communication technologies and information technology, according to the competency approach, in a way that enhances the ability to integrate young people into the labor market and keep pace with the needs of the national economy.
For his part, Boumediene Senussi, General Manager of Djezi Company, appreciated this initiative, considering it a qualitative step to support the labor market in the field of communication technologies, by preparing qualified human resources that respond to modern technical standards, stressing the company’s commitment to accompanying this path and enhancing investment in national competencies.
A framework at the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education reviewed the axes of the agreement in its technical and pedagogical aspects, where the general framework of cooperation, the contents of the new training programs, and mechanisms for integrating the approach with competencies in the preparation and implementation of training courses were discussed, in addition to organizing periods of applied training within institutions..
The stages of implementing the agreement were also discussed, which include preparing curricula and setting technical standards in coordination with Jazi Company’s experts, qualifying the components, and preparing the pedagogical structures, leading to launching the training and following up on its evaluation on a periodic basis, in a way that ensures quality and effectiveness.
Nassima Arhab stressed that this participatory approach constitutes a practical model for integration between the public and economic sectors, which contributes to the qualification of specialized national competencies, the provision of future professions that respond to the needs of the labor market, and enhances the integration of young people into the path of economic and digital development.
