Today, Wednesday, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Yusuf Maitama Togar, the prospects for continuing to contribute together to promoting development in the Sahel-Saharan region, especially through the implementation of structural projects of an integration nature.
These talks took place in Addis Ababa, on the sidelines of Attaf’s participation in the work of the Executive Council of the African Union, where the meeting allowed for a review of the current conditions in the Sahel-Saharan region, and the exchange of views on ways to support stability and development in this common space.
The two ministers also discussed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing their keenness to add more dynamism to them and enhance cooperation in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries.
