It was also done – according to what was stated in a statement byThe interests of the Prime Minister– Addressing the recommendations emerging from this meeting, which relate in particular to continuing the dynamism of local development, enhancing food and water security, enhancing the role of local authorities in creating wealth and job opportunities, modernizing local public services, and reforming the city’s urban administration to ensure a high-quality living environment for citizens.
The government also studied, in a second reading, the project to launch satellite communications services in non-stationary orbit. The goal of launching these services via satellite is to develop access to high-speed Internet across the entire national territory, especially in rural and isolated areas, and to enhance national sovereignty in this strategic area.
